Three Anyone?
In order for the Jazz to go anywhere in the playoffs Okur and Collins have to be healthy and on their game. Collins you ask? Yes. If you watched the Minny game you are still as upset as I am. We also saw something that we haven’t seen in a while, which was Collins playing well against a big man. If you have followed the Jazz for the past few years, you know that Collins plays Shaq, Duncan, Bynum/Gasol, Chandler/West and Camby better than anyone on the team. This expirience will be huge in the playoffs when we face a big man.
On February 12th I wrote about the most important games/situations for the Jazz to make the playoffs. So here is my prediction for the rest of the week, with the daily changes to the Jazz and other teams in effect:
NO over ORL
SA over GS
PH over DN
SAC over HOU
The bottom/top remains the same and the Jazz pick up a half game on Hou/Den/GS and lose half to PH/SA. The Jazz would stay in the fourth spot, but that means that they would be playing the lakers in the 1st round.
Wednesday April 2nd
Jazz big over Minny
NO same over Miami (parlay these for some money)
GS over DAL in overtime
LA big Over Portland at home
Jazz pick up 1/2 game on Hou/PH/SA. Dallas and GS change places and the Jazz stay in the fourth spot but are now playing PH.
Thursday April 3rd
POR over Houston
Jazz are now tied with Houston for home court, but are still in the fourth spot.
Friday April 4th
NO over NY
SA over UT we get screwed on a call at the end of a game, lose and Jerry gets at least one T.
GS beats Mem
PH covers 18 against Minny
La beats DAL at home
Hou over Seat
Jazz fall three back of 1st and are still in the 4th spot playing PHO. Dal/Den are tied for the eight spot and SA/NO are still tied at the top.

Bring a sense of reality
As a jazz fan I must sadly be the one who brings a sense of reality to the crazed jazz fan who lets emotion overpower common reason.
The Jazz are good, but not good enough for a NBA title run or a conference title run.
There are 3 major components to winning the finals
1.) Great defense
2.) A player who can take over the game
3.) Good road record
The Jazz lack 2 of the 3 and I need to clarification as to which 2.
Prediction: Jazz will give us an incredible 1st round win and lose in 5 games in the second round to either the Lakers or Spurs.
Lets pray I’m wrong!
