The Portland Trailblazers may have to revert to old school tactics t to stop Andrei Kirilenko. He is playing out of his mind. I would have to say it is a combination of more minutes and the realization that either he doesn’t have to be the man [...]

Utah Jazz get out to early lead and nearly let it go.

The emotions from the Brewer trade appears to have had a positive effect on the Utah Jazz as they blasted the Warriors last night. The Jazz held the Warriors to their second lowest scoring output of the season so far with a stellar defense and great shooting by Boozer and Miles.
I tweeted yesterday that I [...]

Utah Jazz Beat Denver Nuggets in a Strange T.V. Game.

Booner drops some props on himself, that he was the second player in college to wear Adidas shoes the first edition.  A couple in front Greg Miller got engaged, and the ring doesn’t fit.  Bird Man Forgot his Hair Gel and pulls a new A.K. Anthony Carter got a dunk and The Lion King makes [...]

I think it is safe to say the Utah Jazz are playing really well right now.

My DVR, for the first time this season did the old screw you, you are not watching the game ever. Luckily I should still be able to put some highlights up next week from someone Else’s DVR. These will have to do for now.

Assist of the night goes to Deron Williams.

With the Jazz playing incredible [...]

AK, Matthews and the most quiet 20/20 game I have ever seen.

With 2:38 left in the third quarter Channing Frye hit a three pointer to put the Suns up by 17 points. Yes I said 17 Points.
Then the Jazz rattled of 12 straight points to bring the game to within five going into the fourth quarter.
I have been a Jazz fans my entire life and can’t [...]

“I’m not shaving my beard, until we win five in a row.” D. Williams

The Utah Jazz sweep the San Antonio Spurs for the first time in 16 years (1993-1994).
Kirilenko played like a sixteen million dollar man putting up 26-8 hitting on 11-15 shots and pretty much put on a shooting clinic against the Spurs.
Boozer had a quick start that led the Jazz to an early lead and played [...]

Jazz win, but something is very wrong

I’m so confused right now about this team. Here is the box score and some other info. Andrei was the rainmaker, Deron had sixteen dimes, Boozer pulled down fourteen boards and the Utah Jazz barley won in New York.

BREAKING NEWS LA WON’T REST STARTERS
I am going to apologize publicly for my little rant yesterday about the new blog that has joined Jazz Town saltcityhoops. I guess I just said what a lot of us were thinking, but said it too fast and without thought or complete knowledge of the situation. Mr. Hall, welcome [...]

The 24-second “Shot Clock”(Chauncy Billups, Josh Smith Plays)

The 24-second “Shot Clock”
In the past week the Utah Jazz have had two instances with the 24 second clock. I have been thinking about both of them for a while and am confused about the official rules. Anyway the two situations were

Jazz in the Community Specifically Andrei Kirilenko

Every year the Utah Jazz and Russell’s ice cream have a contest among local elementary schools to see who can read the most combined minutes. There were some schools in U.C. that won some prizes and my little sister teaches at one of them. The school combined to read almost 800,000 minutes which is [...]
