Nostradamus strikes again!!!!
I hate to ring my own bell, but here is my quote from last night:
“This win will be on Memo’s shoulders. I predict 23 and 12 from Memo and he will bring Chandler out on D so Booze can get dirty. Jazz 113- Hornets 106″
So I’m over a point and short five rebounds, but thats pretty good ehh?
Probably only the third or fourth game I haven’t watched part or all of this year. I’m signing in from Disneyland, where I saw Carlos Boozer today. He must have jumped on a charter back to N.O. We were waiting in line for the tea cups, and a few swithbacks behind us I see a baby blue shirt that has Boozer and #5 on the back. I pulled of my green Jazz hat and held it high in the air. I got his attention and he gave me the thumbs up. We had a moment where we both knew that the Jazz are going to win the championship…. So it really wasn’t Boozer but a huge Jazz fan like myself and we shared a glorious manstare/thumbs up.
Here are my thoughts on a game that I didn’t see. However, I think I know enough about the Jazz that I can comment on the results:
So D-Will ownd CP3 again, you say ownd? He only had 4 points. Ahh yes, but he had 16 freaking assists and would have easily had 20 if Booze and Kyle would have played half decent. He had seven more assists than Paul, which is 14-18 points and a loss if he doesn’t distribute.
How would it feel to be MVP and know that your not even the best point guard in your conference. CP3 probably has continual nightmares about the skills competion and now is 2-8 in head to head competitions against D-Will. Chris, please let me know… I’m trying hard to figure out why you get so scared when you play D-Will and the Jazz. Chris Paul playing the Jazz is like Tracy McGrady and the first round of the playoffs.
I imagine that the Jazz settled for a lot of jump shots last night, there shooting % and free throws tell the whole story. Also, two FT’s from our starting five is ridiculous. However, a win is a win.

Will someone remind Houston that Yao Ming is not playing anymore. The Rockets are sitting in the five spot and are, as of tonight, the Jazz’ first round matchup. The game next monday is huge, because a win would count as two if there were a tie between the Jazz and Houston at the end of the season.
Here is the breakdown of the Jazz vs the west playoff teams. This should give all the doubters some real hope.
GS 3-0
Houston, 2-1 (bout to be 3-1 on the 14th)
San Antonio 2-1 (will be 2-2 at the end of the year)
PHX, 2-1
Dallas 2-1 (not sure how this will end up)
Denver 2-1 (should be 3-1 after Sat)
NO 3-1
Lakers 1-3 (the only team that scares me)
I’m developing a mancrush on D-Will. For all Jazz fans everywhere, please hope that CP3 wins the M.V.P. Can you imagine what will happen to D-Will next year? He will turn into a cross between the incredible hulk, Vandam after his friend dies in Bloodsport and Michael Corleone starting at the diner scene. Please Chris, win the MVP for all of us Jazz/D-Will fans.
