For those of you that didn't add the extra time to your DVR or thought that we got as SLCDUNK put it lBJd. You were probably stunned when you turned on Dj and Pk on the morning drive. Sundiata (Yatta) Gaines hit a three as time expired to lead the Utah Jazz to the most memorable Regular Season Win Ever. That's right I dropped Ever. I have watched the entire game twice since last night and the shot about a million. I'm working on an hd video recap as well. There were about 60 k things that had to happen last night for us to win and all 60k of them happened. This game and that shot have moved up to second on my all time Utah Jazz Moments, behind "John Stockton sends the Utah Jazz to the NBA Finals". Some Random Thoughts. David Locke's Call- If you listened to the radio feed last night, coming out of the time out Locke called Gaines shot. Locke has cemented his voice in Utah Jazz Folklore. Korver's Shot- Horse anybody. Simply amazing. Thanks for the Rule change as well NBA. Sloan Running onto the Floor. You may not have seen this unless you were at the game but Jerry ran/jogged to the halfcourt line with his arms raised in triumphant Victory. The Man Hug- There are sports moments that transcend sexuality and masculinity obviously last night was one of those moments. Bryce and I hugged like little girls I loved it I have to admit. Sorry Erin. The Onement- The Onement is a moment when all people involved in a specific moment become one living breathing entity of emotion both good and bad. The onement can happe with two people or the entire world, when the moment is on the larger stage. Last night an entire team, arena, fan base and television audience participated in a onement.  A D-league call-up on a ten day contract, represented all that is pure in sports, with one flick of his wrist. Thank You, Sundiata Gaines. We probably won't win the NBA title, or even get to the Western Conference Finals, but for one night in mid January 2010 at 11:40 p.m. you made Jazz fans the happiest people on earth. Thank You.
