The emotions from the Brewer trade appears to have had a positive effect on the Utah Jazz as they blasted the Warriors last night. The Jazz held the Warriors to their second lowest scoring output of the season so far with a stellar defense and great shooting by Boozer and Miles. I tweeted yesterday that I expected the Jazz to lay an egg and maybe get blown out after it was apparent the players were upset about the Brewer trade. I am glad that I was wrong. The Jazz got off to a great start in the first quarter going up by eleven, but they let that lead slip away and were down when the quarter ended. While watching, it never seemed like the Jazz were in any real danger of losing this game. Their energy was up and AK came so close to another amazing 5 x 5. The Warriors have a lot of good players on their team. I am surprised at how good Curry looked, especially because he looked so small in college. Ellis can be good at times, but last night he seemed lost. Maggette and Randolph are good players as well. I am looking for the Jazz to pull out an unfathomable and unexplainable perfect road trip by beating the Blazers tomorrow night. They are on a roll right now and I don’t see any way you can bet against them.
