It was ugly, but a win is a win. The Utah Jazz outscored the Minnesota Timberwolves 18-6 over the final 2:40 to pull out another come from behind win. It is almost ridiculous how many times that they have come from behind this year (insert inapproproate joke here). I don't believe in jinx's, but it is almost like they are a team of destiny. If somehow the Lakers and Spurs could beat each other up...I'll stop there.

Jerry Sloan is now third on the all time NBA wins list. I personally think he breaks the record in the next four years.

Al Jefferson got off to a horrible start but finished strong and had a career high in blocks(7) against his old team. One thing that I noticed tonight about Al was his push (the wheezy) was consistanley  falling. A few times he even made over the out stretched hands of Kevin Love.

D-Will didn't shoot that well from the floor, but went 13-14 from the line and finished with 25-11. I think that Deron is at the point now that we as Jazz fans have hated opposing players to be at. The point where they get every call when they are in the lane. Don't get me wrong I love that he is going I just know that other teams fans are probably saying what we say when Kobe, Wade and Dirk come to our house.

From my observations Deron is getting about 4-6 minutes a night at the 2 guard postion. Here is a sneak peek at a breakdown video I am working on.

Paul Millsap has been unbelievable so far this season. He  just comes out every night and puts up solid numbers. In the month of December he is averaging 17 points 7.4 rebounds and is shooting 56% from the field. Interestingly enough, he has not shot a three ball this month, keeping his season average at a balmy 57%.

Jazz win and move to 21-9.

Stat of the Day from Elias-

MILES AHEAD

From Elias: C.J. Miles led the Jazz with 22 points as a substitute on Monday - his seventh game this season in which he scored at least 20 points off the bench. The only player with more 20-point games as a substitute this season is Washington's Nick Young, who has nine. (Young has been in the starting lineup in each of the Wizards' last two games and scored at least 20 points in each game.)

What are the Timberwolves saying?
