As a child I was a huge sports fan. Being from Utah I could choose any baseball and football team to root for, as we have no local teams. I guess I was the typical child and rooted for the winning teams. I became a New York Mets fan (1986) and a Chicago Bears fan (1985). However my like for those teams never compared to my love of our local Utah Jazz. Nothing in sports has brought me such joy and pain as Utah Jazz Basketball. I have watched the Jazz go from perennial playoff team (nothing more, nothing less), to a Western Confrence powerhouse, to rebuilding and back to Perennial playoff team (I hope). I have been a fan through the good and the bad, and will watch each year with the hope of one thing, hearing the words "The Utah Jazz are the Champions of the NBA".
