Tonight comes an opportunity to respond to those who now doubt. The Utah Jazz weren’t just spanked by the Oklahoma City Thunder; they were severely scolded and sent to their rooms without dinner. It was a lackluster effort and one that was hopefully worth the lesson that should have been learned.
Tonight is a Thanksgiving game against the Chicago Bulls. I was present last year when Larry Hughes hit a 15-foot jumper as time expired to win it for the Bulls and I want no part of that feeling this year.
Here are a few reasons why I think the Jazz will win this game:
- The Jazz want revenge for last year.
- Deron wants a chance to shut down D Rose.
- It is Thanksgiving and a nationally televised game.
- The Jazz are coming off a game in which we turned the ball over once every two minutes.
- Memo should play better after a game under his belt.
