In an interview this morning with DJ and PK Memo said this "DJ and PK talked with Randy Rigby of the Jazz about the off-season. Rigby says that in all of his time with the club, he can’t remember a bigger off-season. The three of them discussed specific players and the salary cap situation.
Mehmet Okur released on his website, memo13.com, an interview where he discussed his upcoming off-season and specifically addressed his contract . Memo says that he is willing to make sacrifices to stay with the Jazz and won’t change teams if there is a difference of 3-5 million dollars in the total worth of a new contract."
Check out the rest of the interview on his website here.
Not an in Depth look at Memo but here are his stats compared against the other centers in the league

Three Point % 1st among centers and 6th among the entire league.
Minutes 6th at 33.5 a game
Double Double's 10th
Here is some info from 82games.com about Memo. 71% of his shots are jump shots and that goes up to 82% in the clutch. 66% of his shots are assisted on 5% of his shots are blocked. You can click on the link and follow his other stats.
I think Memo is a top ten center in the league because he plays for the Jazz. However, there are other centers I would rather have for different reasons, but we would have to make up some of Memo's scoring if he left. It all depends on the "discount" and length of contract. If he wants 4 years at 9 million we are looking at 36-40 million with a discount of 4-5 million so a contract for somewhere in the range of 31-35 million over the next 4 years. Here is a look at the next four years and what we have as far as contracts.
