Thanks for the Memories... Here's the story or here same thing.

So Kyle said the he wants to be role player on a team that has a chance to win it. So, LA, Cleveland, Boston, SA, Sacramento or something like that. I imagine he wants a shooter role like James Posey, JJ Reddick, Sasha Vujacic, Courtney Lee, Eddie House, or Von Wafer, getting 20-25 minutes a game as a specialist in the jump shot. Wait, Wait, that is his role with the Utah Jazz except he didn't hit the three ball the second half of the season. Wait, Wait, and we expected him to play defense, which in the second half of the season was pretty decent. Is there a correlation between KK's upgrade on "D" and his downgrade on "O".

YES

What Korver is really saying, "I want to go to a team where all the other players play my defense for me and just let me shoot the ball and look amazing".

There are only 6 or 7 or teams in the league that have a better chance at a championship (than the Jazz) and the odds of him going to one of those teams is ridiculous.

Bryce pointed out that his agent probably already has a team ready to give Korver a 4-5 year deal worth lets say 20-25 million which is to much IMO. Korver is already a step slower on defense and will only get slower as he gets older, and it doesn't help that he plays a position almost completely dominated by athletic (African America) players.

As a Jazz fan I'm bugged by the effect that this will have on our offense forcing us to go out and find a shooter ( sorry Ronnie) a real one. Had we not signed Miles we would probably have 8.5 million to fill Korver's spot. However now we have to find a shooter to come to Utah for 4-5 million, or we could use the money to keep Boozer and Millsap either way we are in a pickle.

If Memo and Korver opts out that is 14 Mil that I and the Jazz (I think) didn't think was going to be there. If Memo and Korver are for sure opting out, I do everything in my power to get rid of AK's contract. This will clear up 5.5 +9 + 18, or 32 million in cap space and if you throw in New York's Unprotected which will be a 5-12 pick, you take Dwill,Boozer, Brewer, a solid Rookie and a sign a big name contract and go for the rings from 2011-2013.

There, I said it. I can handle some rebuilding just don't give KK or MEMO any more money.

I don't know what is your opinion.
