20 Seconds into the game last night Jerry Sloan gave the Utah Jazz some Fuggity Fugg Fuggs and told them to pull their Shug together. The team responded by having one of the ugliest halves of the season. The Jazz shot just 41% in the first half and Deron only had two assists. However, the Wizards shot 30% and were down 36-46 going into the break.
AK got the start over Brewer last night because Ronnie Brewer slept through shoot-a-round. After the game Phil Johnson mentioned that the Utah Jazz don't have any kind of fine system set in place they treat the players like men and expect them to act accordingly.
The Overall feeling last night was pretty crappy the fans, players, coaches pretty much the entire organization was still recovering from Saturday's collapse.Brevin Knight shot 2-2 last night and both of them were 15-20 foot jumpers and the shots actually had a mild arc.
Kyle Korver played really well shooting 6-9 and 2-4 from the three point line. He has been pretty much automatic from the elbow this year. When the Jazz run the C-Down Korver gets a double pick one from Memo/Boozer and one from the cutter. He has the option to dump it down to the cutter or hit the elbow jumper, last night he was hitting the jumper but had one turnover on the dumpdown.
Deron Williams had 4 turnovers in the first 3 minutes of the game and his jump shot was a little off.He finished with 8 turnovers which is pretty crappy. He did have this ridiculous alleyoop to CJ. He also got into with Juan Dixon, who will always have a special place in my heart because of the 2002 Terrapins. That team won me three brackets and a rather large undisclosed amount of money in Vegas, thank you Juan.
Matt Harpring was involved in an altercation that fans at home never got to see. Those of you that attend games on every once in a while will notice that when Matt Hapring subs into the game he is the first one on the floor(because it usually after a timeout). Last night after Millsap got fouled +1 the Jazz called a timeout before the free throw and Hapring was subbed in. The reason Matt likes to be the first on the floor is so he can take some practice shots and get a feel for the game ball (he does this every time going and coming from the bench on a timeout, watch for it the next time you go to a game). Anyway the Ref would not give him the ball to take some shots. Hapring was trying to grab it from him but the ref was putting it behind his back and walking away. Boozer then came over and both of them were trying to get the ball from the ref to take a practice shot, eventually Boozer took the ball from the ref and handed it to Matt for his practice layup.
Jarron Collins "The Cardinal" hit a 20 footer last night.
The Bench score 46 points last night and pretty much won the game for us.

Andre Iguodala I love you. The Lakers had a foul to give, Hall of Fame coach, I think not. An enemy of my enemy is a friend of mine.
