Because they have won multiple NBA Championships in the past 10 years. They run their organization just like the Jazz, usually have the character players like the Jazz, they usually can fit anyone into their system and win like the Jazz, they have an old school coach like the Jazz, they have an old school player to compare to Pistol (George Gervin), but they have freaking four championships in the past ten years. That is why.
Am I jealous, absolutely. They just know how to win and keep doing it year in and year out like clock work. They are a second-round draft pick, star-making, factory. I hate them because they do things the right way. And they win. Constantly.
Which will probably happen tonight considering all the that has gone on over the past week. I know the Jazz have won five straight regular season games against the Spurs, but that has been with us at full strength.
After Memo's break out game of 43 he is 7-34 and shooting a whopping 20.5%.Really? That is unbelievable. Memo straight-up for Kaman sounds really good right now.
I want the Jazz to win, I feel that they can win, but think that they won't. I hope that I am wrong.
Match up of the night- D-will vs. Mr. Longoria
Stat of the Night- When the Jazz are missing one of their top five scorers (Millsap,D-Will,Boozer, AK, Memo) they are 22-7, when they are missing two of those players they are 4-12. Thank you Kevin O'Connor for that gem.
If Gambling were legal- I would pick a once in a lifetime 5 game parlay of Cavs-14, Denver -7, Lakers-11, Spurs +2.5, Indiana/Orlando over whatever up to 228. You are getting 25-1 odds so I would throw down 25 to catch 610, if gambling were legal.
Jazz lose 89-83
