The Utah Jazz got off to a slow start, but Brewer and Okur both had strong second halves as the Jazz outscored the Wolves by 21 in the second half showing that maybe they can be consistent on the road.
The Jazz end up with seven players in double figures, the starting five and AK/KK of the bench.
As a team the Jazz had 12 steals and 6 blocks most of them coming in the second half when they turned up the heat.
With nine minutes left in the game it was tied 97-97 and the Jazz outscored them 23-6 to finish of the game leaving no doubt of who the better team is.
Boozer looked much better all the way around tonight and he will have a few more days to practice with the team before our back to back this weekend.
|San Antonio||39||17||.696||7 ½||97.6||93.5||+4.1|
|New Orleans||34||22||.607||12 ½||96.1||93.7||+2.4|
The Jazz are one win away from the fifth spot if Portland and NO lose any of their upcoming games and are only 3 wins away from the division lead.
The Utah Jazz really need to take it one game at a time. Looking at their remaining schedule is very depressing, but looking at it one game at a time is much more enjoyable and makes winning 50 possible.
