If you follow Deron Williams or the Utah Jazz, you know that D-Will loves to play in the nationally televised games. Especially, when the game is against Chris Paul or Jason Kidd, his two Olympic counterparts. Tonight we have a combination of both, we are playing the Mavs (and Kidd) @ home on TNT.

We need to come up with an alter ego name for Deron Williams when this phenomenon is in effect like um.......

The Encore- As in "Yeah The Encore showed up tonight".

Impose- Because he imposes his "Will"

Michael- Not from the Friday the thirteenth, but from Godfather 2 and the baby blessing montage. Example "Yeah I'm glad Michael showed up tonight, or we would have lost".

Mofia/Creasy "Man on fire-- in action" If you haven't seen this movie, I would highly recommend it. Example "Yeah, D-will went Creasy on the Mavs last night."

Please enlighten me on something better than Mamba or LBJ those are craptastic alter ego's.

O.K. back to the game so D-Will is going to go Postal, Creasy, Michael, and Impose his will on the Mavs tonight. However, I don't know if we win the game, I am still contemplating the outcome.

The Mavs and Jazz are heading in opposite directions coming into this game. The Dallas Mavericks have won 5 of 6 and the Utah Jazz have lost 5 of their last 7.

Here is my take on the game. I don't see anyway of us stopping Dirk Nowitski or Jason Terry when he comes of the bench. Kyle can't keep up with Terry and he is to good of a shooter to back off him and play the drive. Dirk will get his points he is our version of Okur, but a lot better. He spreads the floor and shows our weakness on the backside defensive help. He can also drive on any of our bigs.

I think we can let those two together score 50-55 and win. If they score more than 55 points combined we will not win. Having said this, the Jazz have to stop the other players. Bass, Kidd, Howard, Dampier, must be less than 40 points combined our we will lose. In summary if the Mavs score more than 100 we lose this game.

From the Jazz point of view, we have not been rebounding very good lately we need to rebound and Millsap needs to come out of his foul funk and give us a good 38 minutes. This will be tough for him because of the match up he faces.

CJ, and Ronnie just need to keep doing what they are doing., playing good not great, we need a combined 30 points from them. Deron will dominate Kidd, he is a good player and passer but his speed has been declining over the past 4 years, look for D-will to take advantage of the fact.


The biggest key for tonight's game is the Utah Jazz Bench. We need a combined 34 points from Knight,Korver, Harpring, Fez, and KoKo, if this happens I think we will win.
